5Storyline:
South Boston State Police are at war against the Irish American organized crime. Young undercover cop Billy Costigan is assigned to infiltrate the mob syndicate run by mob boss Frank Costello. While Billy is quickly becoming Costello confidence, Colin Sullivan, a hardened young criminal who has infiltrated the state police, as the syndicate increases to the state power in the Special Investigation Unit Informer.
